The advantages of the DOCK-SHOCK over conventional systems are: The DOCK-SHOCK can be constructed to meet any need, and adjustable porting allows for the changing of the units characteristics at any time after installation. The DOCK-SHOCK Model DS50-20 is capable of absorbing up to 50 Ft-Kip of energy, which is equivalent to a 1500 ton barge impacting the pier with a perpendicular velocity of 1 Ft/Sec.
